The Sit Drive Drill will increase throwing velocity by working on leg strength. It will teach players how to use their legs while exploding forward.
A bucket or something to sit on is needed to perform this drill. The player should get setup by sitting on the edge of the bucket. The knees should be in a wide stance and the knees should not extend past the toes.
- The player is going to rock backward and forwards.
- When ready, the player will explode forward using the back leg for maximum power and release the ball.
