This drill works to build a good throwing motion. This drill is great for youth players and helps to correct some bad throwing habits.
Setup
This drill is performed standing next to a chain link fence. No other equipment is needed. The player should stand one foot away from the fence and at a 90-degree angle to the fence.
Drill Instructions
- The player will lift the leg up that is closest to the fence and get into a balanced position.
- Leading with the front hip, the player should collapse into the fence.
- This drill can be repeated many times.
