The Diving Posture Drill builds strength and a strong athletic posture for throwing after diving to the backhand side to field a ball.
Players will begin on their knees.
- When ready, the player should dive to the ground so that the entire body is touching the turf.
- Next the player will explode up, shuffle forward, and get into a good athletic position with proper posture.
- To finish out the move, the player should throw the ball to the target.
