Practice week 4: Days 1 & 2
These game situations practice plans with live game situations will help your players prepare for live games by splitting them into separate groups. This will help keep them engaged, learning the finer details of baseball and getting them ready for what they can expect to see during a game.
These practice plans are an outline and flexible. Change however you see fit to your coaching philosophy.

Tip of the Day - 2 Minutes
Game of 21 - 5 Minutes
The Game of 21 is essentially a game of catch. Players need to focus on getting the correct grip and using proper form. Better throws are rewarded with more points.
Relay Drill - 10 Minutes
The relay drills teaches young players how to correctly throw the ball from the outfield to the base using a relay man.
3 Corner Soft Toss - 20 Minutes
The soft toss drill gives players a chance to practice at-bat as if it were in a game. Each player will get one-on-one time with a coach to correct any issues they may be having while hitting.
Situational Fielding - 20 Minutes
Situtational fielding drills are the most important aspect of teaching young fielders what their job is in every base hit situation. Each fielder has a job, and if executed flawlessly, you are better equipped to win games.

4x4x4 Scrimmage - 25 Minutes
The 4x4x4 game simulates a real game where players can practice hitting, fielding and baserunning at the same time while split into three groups.
